More about Diesel

What makes this car a Low Emission Vehicle?

The all new Renault Latitude is fitted with an efficient diesel engine built by Renault. It offers impressive fuel economy for such a large, comfortable and luxurious vehicle.

What are the customer benefits of this technology?

Impressive fuel economy and low emissions from a full size family five-seater are just the start of a long list of customer benefits, such as one of the biggest cabins in the class and the Renault five-year/unlimited km warranty.

How many LEV models are available in your range now and when will more be introduced in Australia?

The new generation Mégane hatch will be offered with a very frugal and low emisisons turbo-diesel engine later in 2011. Plus in 2012, Renault will offer Australia's the first Zero Emission five-seat electric sedan with the launch of the Fluence Z.E.

What is your brand's LEV/ZeroEV strategy for Australia?

Renault has launched the Latitude Sedan with a very frugal diesel engine that lacks nothing in performance. A low emission diesel engine follows for the mainstream Mégane late in 2011, while there are class-leading low consumption, low emission diesel engines already available in the Renault Light Commercial Vehicle Range. In 2012, we will offer the first affordable five-seat family-size Zero Emission sedan in Australia, in the form of the Fluence Z.E.
